Stephanie McAuley, PA-C, brings a unique combination of clinical experience, scientific training, and lifelong dedication to health, athletics, and performance to Cordan Wellness Collective.
For the past 13 years, Stephanie has practiced emergency medicine, caring for patients across a broad spectrum of acute and complex medical conditions. Her experience in the emergency department has given her a firsthand view of the long-term consequences of chronic disease. Too often, she sees patients only after conditions such as cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction, obesity, and other preventable illnesses have already taken hold.
That experience fundamentally shaped her interest in longevity medicine.
Rather than waiting for disease to develop and then managing its consequences, Stephanie believes medicine should do more to identify risk early, optimize health proactively, and help patients preserve their physical and cognitive function for decades to come. At Cordan Wellness Collective, that means moving beyond a traditional one-size-fits-all model of healthcare and toward a truly individualized approach — one size fits one.
Stephanie’s scientific background further informs this philosophy. She holds a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience. Her academic work resulted in multiple scientific publications. She also gained experience in the pharmaceutical industry at Genzyme, providing her with additional insight into biomedical science, therapeutics, and drug development.
Her passion for health, athletics, and performance began long before her career in medicine. A three-sport varsity athlete throughout high school, Stephanie competed in soccer, basketball, and softball before continuing her athletic career at the University of Connecticut. At UConn, she was a Division I scholarship softball athlete and four-year starter. Today, Stephanie continues to pursue her love of athletics through various forms of exercise. Just this summer, she completed her 17th Pan-Mass Challenge, a two-day, 177-mile ride across Massachusetts that raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
That background in competitive athletics continues to influence how she approaches longevity today. She understands that meaningful improvements in health rarely come from a single intervention. They come from understanding an individual’s physiology, establishing measurable goals, consistently working toward them, and using objective data to continually refine the approach.
At Cordan Wellness Collective, Stephanie combines her experience in emergency medicine, neuroscience, research, and athletics to help patients better understand their own health. The clinic goes beyond the traditional annual physical by examining each patient’s individual biomarkers, body composition, cardiovascular fitness, strength, functional capacity, metabolic health, and other measures that influence long-term healthspan.
