How we handle the limited information you share with us through this website.

The short version: this website is informational. If you want to hear from us, we link out to a consultation form hosted on our Google Workspace account, where you give us your name and your email address and/or phone number. We use it to contact you. We do not sell it, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the website operated by Cordan Wellness Collective (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 160 Old Derby St. Suite 452 Hingham, MA 02043. You can reach us at dan@cordanwellness.com, steph@cordanwellness.com, or (781) 264-2682.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us:

Consultation form submissions. Your name, your email address and/or phone number, and your agreement to be contacted. The form is hosted on our Google Workspace account, so Google stores and processes these submissions on our behalf.
Direct communications. If you email, call, or message us on social media, we receive whatever you send us.
Basic server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is generated by the hosting infrastructure, is used for security and reliability, and is not used to build a profile of you.

We do not ask for and do not want health information through this website. The consultation form asks only for your name and contact details. Please do not send us medical history, symptoms, diagnoses, test results, medications, or any other health details through that form, by email, or through social media. If you send health information anyway, we will handle it with care, but the website is not a secure channel and is not intended for it. Health information shared with us as a patient, in the course of care, is handled separately under our clinical privacy practices.

3. How we use your information

We use what you give us to:

Respond to your inquiry and contact you at the email address or phone number you gave us
Schedule or discuss a consultation, if that is what you asked about
Keep records of inquiries and respond to any follow-up from you
Maintain the security and functioning of the website
Comply with applicable law

We do not use your contact information to send marketing or promotional messages unless you separately ask us to.

4. Text messages and phone calls

If you provide a phone number and check the box on our consultation form agreeing to be contacted, you agree that we may contact you at that number about your inquiry, including by phone call and text message. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of receiving care. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by telling us directly, and we will stop contacting you by that method.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tags. We store a single item in your browser's local storage to remember that you have dismissed our privacy notice, so it does not reappear on every page. That item contains no personal information and is not shared with anyone.

If we add analytics or other tracking in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before those technologies are enabled.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share it only:

With service providers who help us operate — for example our website host, our email provider, and Google, which hosts our consultation form — and only as needed to provide those services
When required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation
To protect rights and safety, where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or investigate fraud or abuse
In a business transfer, if the practice is ever sold or reorganized, in which case information would transfer subject to this policy

7. How long we keep it

We keep contact inquiries only as long as needed to respond and to maintain reasonable business records, and then delete them, including the copy held in our Google Workspace account. If you ask us to delete your inquiry sooner, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including serving this site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through this website.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you
Correct information that is inaccurate
Delete information we hold about you
Stop contacting you, or contact you only by a particular method

To make a request, email dan@cordanwellness.com or steph@cordanwellness.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still make any of the requests listed above.

10. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this site. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

This site links to external websites, including our social media profiles and our consultation form, which opens in a new tab and is hosted by Google. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave ours.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
